That Novel Course
This 6-week course
will help with planning your novel, developing plot, characterisation,
dialogue, point of view, first chapter, as well as giving you feedback on your
writing. Plus there will be guest speakers:
We have two guest speakers:
Alex
Wheatle MBE, who will be discussing Characterisation. (Alex Wheatle, is
the author of eight novels, some of them set in Brixton, where he grew
up. In 2010, he wrote the one-man autobiographical performance,
Uprising. Alex was awarded an MBE for services to literature in 2008).
Josie Pearse, who will be discussing Plot.
(Josie, publishes sexy novels for women under a pseudonym and just finished a PhD in Creative Writing. She has taught Creative Writing classes on and off since 1989.)

About Course Tutor:
Rosie
Canning is a
co-founder of Greenacre Writers. She studied MA Writing at Middlesex
University.
She has written a novel, short stories, some of which have been
published and either long/short-listed: Spilling Ink, New Writer, Flash
500, The Yellow Room, and The Word Hut.
