PCNs - exercise of discretion - #17 Hillingdon

Hillingdon Council haven't gone mad with their logo (good, money not wasted) - they merely tell us they are in London, in case we hadn't realised.

Only just, it covers a large area though.
It turned out that they don't, yet, have a policy when it comes to the use of their discretion as required by the Secretary of State.

At first they declined to tell Mr Mustard:

and Mr Mustard had to ask what possible reason there could be to decline and the one that Hillingdon Council came up with was 'future publication' for which they ought to have a date in mind as otherwise it could be the next millenium.

Mr Mustard duly asked, on 10 November and has not had the courtesy of a reply. Mr Mustard will give Hillingdon a nudge - they probably haven't written the policy yet.

Oddly, a much more recent policy requirement, for a salary policy, has been written.

To be continued.
