Nutley Terrace - Camden

You need to stay out of Nutley Terrace (from Fitzjohn Avenue) between 8 and 9am and from 3pm to 4.15pm as my inbox is filling up with requests for help and a moving traffic PCN is hard to beat.

This is the warning sign if you come straight across into Nutley Terrace from Nutely Terrace (i.e. across Fitzjohn)

This is the warning sign as you come down Fitzjohn
Out of hours the signs are covered up which I think is wrong as they don't get imprinted on your brain.
Warning sign as you come north up Fitzjohn. The lovely trees make the sign hard to see.
A nearer view
The next turning to the north, Netherhall Gardens, which has the same restriction but doesn't get the same amount of traffic.

I have put the photos here so i can send a link to people rather than a 37mb email.

  1. Back in January 2021 Google maps showrf these signs as excepting electric vehicles. Has that altered?

Any idea whether a satnav would give a warning?

Your comment that your "inbox is filling up with requests for help" suggests your fame may be spreading. I use the term "soft door" to divide someone who offers friendly, helpful and candid advice. As oppposed to the often nureacratic response of local councils who now seem to view PCNs as maximising income generation. Rather than parking & traffic management. Which is how it was intended to operate. It resembles

To me, it resembles old systems of "tax farming" where the "farmer" (in this case local councils and TfL) abuse their power to make as much as possible from running the charging system.

I now moderate comments in the light of the Delfi case. Due to the current high incidence of spam I have had to turn word verification on.
