Parking in Chipping (High) Barnet
More of this councillors please, all over the borough. It will help to save the High St.
This is indeed welcome news, but the council had to be pushed kicking and screaming into doing this by intense pressure from local business's and the political pressure of elections next year. In other words they didn't do this because they thought it was a good idea, they did it to save their skins. The results of next years elections may well determine just how permanent this is or indeed if we can roll this out to other council car parks such as Stapyleton Rd.
