Here is a wonderful short film, from the Guardian, about the recently re-established Friern Barnet library.
The main need for a library is, of course for books, so any that you have and no longer have house room for could usefully be donated to the Library. Just turn up in the afternoon and donate them.
Mr Mustard also saw that there was a need for tables and chairs (not sure if that has been filed yet) and tea, coffee and biscuits are always welcomed as the squatters are very hospitable and much more welcoming then Barnet Council were to him when he visited.
