So essentially Sainsburys pay your parking for you if you visit their store and spend £15, a sum that likely covers the cost from the profit made. Quite a few supermarkets in town centres have this system. Sainsburys in Newcastle-under-Lyme had this until they moved out and went a mile away. Now there is no charge because they own the car park.
